Hi! My name is Danielle.
I’m a college student at Oral Roberts University majoring in Entrepreneurship. I am originally from the Netherlands, but I have embraced Tulsa as my own. 

One of my passions is to see the eradication of poverty through economic development. When I learned a little bit about Black Wall Street, I wondered why it never fully recovered after the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921. 

This blog is a tribute to the Greenwood District of Tulsa. It is my desire to see this area bloom again through the empowerment of locals to rebuild their home and community to its full potential.
